The Green Bay Packers wide receivers are generally looked over after the Davante Adams trade. However, that is more due to their unproven nature than a lack of NFL talent.
Rookie wide out Christian Watson has come off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. Dealing with a knee procedure and rehab, Watson’s NFL career has yet to truly begin. He performed individual drills on Sunday and will ramp up as training camp progresses, even if he doesn’t play Week 1.
Currently, DraftKings has Watson at +1400 to win Offensive Rookie of the year. His teammate, Romeo Doubs, is sporting the same odds, but he’s flashed in camp and in preseason action, and is the current favorite to be Aaron Rodgers’ favorite young target. If you’re choosing between the two, Doubs has a head start in the race for OROY.
