Celebrate this [Jrue] Holiday
Jrue Holiday entered the NBA at age 19 in 2009. He is an NBA Champion that was arguably the most important player on that Milwaukee Bucks team. Yes, more than Giannis and Khris Middleton. They were the fancy amenities to a car that ran on Holiday's engine. He may not be a flashy player or an outspoken social media personality, but he is a great basketball player and person, something that is mostly lost on the NBA community.
It's no mistake that he has been given awards for being a great teammate, as he is also one in his personal life. Holiday is not one to share a lot of information, but he is married to Lauren Holiday, a two-time Olympic gold medalist for the U.S. women's national soccer team. She retired from the USWNT in 2015 to start a family with Jrue. But he stepped away from the NBA for a period of time in 2016 to care for his wife, who was dealing with a brain tumor. They continue to operate more in the shadows, but the Holiday's are one of the NBA's best couples.
Elsewhere on the court, Jrue can be seen battling against his two brothers, Justin and Aaron, who also made it to the top of the basketball universe. The trio made history in 2019 as it was the first time in NBA history that three brothers played in the same game.
