Hey there Mariah
The San Antonio Spurs have not had much to cheer about over the last few years, but that didn't stop the social media team from having a little bit of fun anyway. Losing can be tough, but letting your emotions flow while singing your heart out certainly is not. That's where Keldon Johnson comes in. In the now-famous 2021 Valentine's Day video, Johnson is the only one who clearly knows the lyrics to Mariah Carey's, "We Belong Together."
He is certainly passionate about her, saying that he listens to Carey's song every day. If there's one thing we can't fault Johnson for, it's that he willingly sought out a song other than the inescapable holiday hit, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
On the court, Johnson earned himself a spot on Team USA's roster at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, where they took home the gold medal. His inclusion on the team marked only the sixth time since a player 21 or younger made the roster since the inclusion of NBA players was allowed in 1992.
While it might've seemed like that at the time, we can say for certain that it wasn't a "Fantasy" for Johnson.
