You Fuel the Universe's Greatest Shooter
Steph Curry is the greatest three-point shooter the planet has ever seen, and it's unlikely anyone revolutionizes the game like he did ever again. Amongst his stretch of dominance that has punched his ticket to basketball immortality has been a peculiar tendency to find success early in the second half of games.
According to former teammate Andrew Bogut, Curry checks the timeline after a poor first-half performance. Whether he's called a clown, a fraud, overrated, or something in between, Curry keeps the insults in his back pocket. When he trots back onto the court, he's recharged, energized, and pissed off.
A mere 30 points later and he can shimmy his way down the court, satisfied that he shut the haters up.
Curry has dealt with critics his entire life. From the privilege of being the son of an NBA player to being undersized; from playing at a small school and struggling to stay healthy at the beginning of his career. It's clear now he'll never calm those critics, despite posting they greatest shooting resume ever.
I think he's okay with a few rude comments, though. Apparently, it only makes him better.
