Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (head) cleared the league’s concussion protocol and is back at second base and is hitting leadoff on Tuesday against Oakland Athletics right-hander Frankie Montas. Meanwhile, outfielder Kyle Tucker (foot) will miss his third straight game after leaving Saturday’s game with left foot pain. Altuve is hitting .350 with two home runs, three RBI and six runs in the last 10 games and needs to be returned to all fantasy lineups. Tucker did some running in the outfield before the game and should be available off the bench. The 25-year-old isn’t dealing with any structural damage, so he should be able to avoid a stint on the injured list. Chas McCormick is getting another start in right field and is batting eighth against Montas on Tuesday night.
