Let’s make this short and sweet. The NFL Longshot Touchdown Parlay of the Week has earned its namesake this season. That’s not a good thing. So maybe the branding was off or maybe the luck is bad or maybe we just have to be better. Whatever it is, that last part is true. So let’s be better. We saw two of our four picks score early touchdowns last week, but then our other two players went silent. One of them, Derrick Henry, fumbled the ball before entering the end zone, allowing Titans’ rookie Treylon Burks to record his first NFL score. A heartwarming story for Burks, a heartbreaking story for us. So let’s try and find a winner in Week 13.

Derrick Henry (TEN) -135
If it wasn’t for a fumble before the goal line last week, Derrick Henry wouldn’t be in this week’s parlay. However, we have to go back to him with a price of -135. Of course, the Titans’ star running back will have to deal with an Eagles’ run defense that is getting rookie Jordan Davis back, but Henry has yet to go two consecutive games without finding pay dirt. With him being almost the entire Tennessee offense, we don’t expect that streak to be broken in Philly.
In order for this bet to win, Derrick Henry has to score a rushing or receiving touchdown as passing touchdowns do not count. The -135 price means that you would need to bet $135 on a straight bet to win an additional $100 if Henry did score. A straight bet is when you are betting on one singular outcome.
Nick Chubb (CLE) -160
A price of -160 is a little rich for a straight bet purpose, but it’s perfect for a parlay like ours. The logic is extremely simple. We all know by now that the Houston Texans have a horrid run defense and Nick Chubb should be able to take advantage as they add a new quarterback to the fold. He has scored a touchdown in eight of the Browns’ 11 games this season and much like Henry, Chubb is the key to the Cleveland offense.
Elijah Moore (NYJ) +280
The least likely guy in our parlay to score this week, according to oddsmakers, is Elijah Moore of the New York Jets. However, Moore is a player that finally broke out last week thanks to the arrival of Mike White in the starting lineup. The second-year receiver famously recorded his first career receiving touchdown last season against the Colts on a Thursday night when the quarterback was also, Mike White. Moore is not being ignored by White, which is enough for us to take a shot on him finding the end zone in Minneapolis against a banged up Vikings‘ secondary.
Terry McLaurin (WSH) +180
When the Washington Commanders’ receiver Terry McLaurin looked at the schedule this week, you can just imagine the smile he must’ve had on his face. “Scary Terry” is especially scary against the Giants, averaging over seven catches and 95 receiving yards a game in five contests against Big Blue. McLaurin has scored a touchdown in two of those games and both of them came in the last three matchups, meaning we are trending in the right direction. With only two touchdowns on the year, it’s long overdue for the Commanders top receiver to find the end zone once again.
Week 13 TD Parlay +2909
This week’s parlay pays +2909, meaning that a $100 bet would payout an additional $2,909 if we cash them all. Much like last week, we aren’t going to try and bankrupt the sportsbooks. We’ll just try to put a nice dent in the Sunday ledger. Let’s get into the win column.
A parlay is when you are betting on multiple outcomes for the hopes of securing a larger payout. In order to win the bet, we have to win each of the individual wagers, meaning in this case we need to win all four to take home the cash.
