Demario Davis Pulled A Full 180
Once somebody starts heading down a troublesome path, the slippery slope of unfilled potential remains a mere few steps away. For Demario Davis, that slope, wasn't just on the horizon. He was looking straight down it.
Davis was expelled for a semester of high school after attempting to steal a student's wallet. Soon after, he would spend three days in jail for shoplifting at Arkansas State. His future of a football player was in doubt.
Instead, Davis faced his issues head on, claiming to have found God after being jailed. A changed man, Davis would make it to the league and blossom as a late bloomer. His career post-30 is as impressive as exists for a linebacker.
To add, Davis' get right moment was not a flash in the pan to find his way out of trouble. Davis remains faithful to this day and has become a leader on and off the field, receiving numerous awards for his inspirational impact. He's a prime example of the good that exists in people, no matter how it's achieved.
