Hooper at Heart
Garrett Wilson might have carved himself out an NFL career, but given the choice would he rather star in the NBA instead? Well, Wilson once said that he would've pursued basketball if he was blessed with being taller than six feet. He was a standout player in Lake Travis, Texas, where he also played AAU and received offers from Division I programs. Wilson's father, Kenny, also played college basketball at Davidson, so basketball is certainly in the bloodlines. Maybe the work Garrett put in on the court is the reason behind his great footwork and route running on the field, as he continues to break defenders ankles all the way to the end zone.
