From Undrafted to NFL Star
James Robinson was never meant to be this good, at least that's what you'd believe if the scouting reports were correct. NFL.com gave Robinson a 5.65 grade on their scale, the equivalent of someone that was destined for the end of a roster or practice squad spot. Yet somehow, someway, that same guy found himself a job in Jacksonville. He not only gave the team a chance to move on from Leonard Fournette but then rewarded them with a rookie season that no one could've envisioned, except maybe Robinson himself.
From undrafted to NFL Rookie of the Year nominee. Robinson's mantra, "Just give them something they can't really ignore," paid major dividends, especially for a team that was starving for talent. He's one of the undrafted success stories that make the NFL great. Despite being passed over 255 times during the 2020 NFL Draft, it's Robinson that managed to get the last laugh, proving that sometimes being the hardest worker in the room is all you need.
