A Cheetah on track and the field
Tyreek Hill is mostly known for his incredible speed, but this track and field star took an unlikely route to the NFL. He was a standout in track and field in high school before electing to attend Garden City Community College in Kansas, not exactly a straight line path to the NFL.
Hill then joined Oklahoma State, but was dismissed from the team after one year for domestic violence. After case was finished, Hill moved on to Division II West Alabama, where NFL scouts continued to take notice. Despite not being invited to the combine, the Kansas City Chiefs took a chance on him in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, where his career began to officially take off.
For all his faults, for which there are plenty of incidents to this point, Hill remains a fantastic football player who has reportedly made strides in fixing his image, and was once clocked at a top speed of 22.6 miles per hour, which is almost the standard residential speed limit across America.
